  6. RecentTool version 1.1
  7. A very fast and small tool that uses Aminet Recent.ADT and adds AmiExpress
  8. style File_ID.diz to Aminet archives. 
  9. RecentTool can even rename archives to MS-DOS style 8.3 names on the fly
  10. . It tries to get version information from long archive names or
  11. archive descriptions and include them in archive names.

  13. RecentTool is Enforcer/Mungwall proof.

  15. RecentTool is a pure program and can be made resident.

  28. Index     = Where Recent.ADT is located
  29. Files     = Multiple numbers of files or directories
  30. Overwrite = Overwrites an exisiting File_ID.diz in the archive with an
  31.             Aminet style file description
  32. Rename    = Renames archives to comprehensive MS-DOS style 8.3 names
  33. Force     = Adds an dummy File_ID.diz to reference-less archives that do
  34.             not already carry File_ID.diz files
  35. Verbose   = N/A
  36. Stamp     = Stamp File_ID.diz using current system date
  37. ReadMe    = Adds *.ReadMe to the archive if possible

  43. Adds file_ID.DIZ to all archives in DL:AMINET/NEW directory. Uses DL:AMINET
  44. /Recent.ADT when building its database

  47. Adds file_ID.DIZ to all archives in DL:AMINET/NEW directory. Uses Recent.ADT
  48. in the current directory. Overwrite, Rename, Force, Stamp, and ReadMe options

  54. I recomend that you make an alias like this:

  56. and use it instead of calling RecentTool directly.
